How do I configure my own, unlocked Grandstream HT502 with ViaTalk?

These instructions assume that you are utilizing a computer that is plugged into the LAN port of a non-branded or unlocked Grandstream HT502.

1) Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, etc) and type 192.168.2.1 into the address bar. Then, press Enter.

3) You will be prompted for a password. Please use your administrative password. The default password is admin.

4) The page will reload. Once it does, click 'FXS Port 1' at the top of the screen. Once the page loads, you will see the fields for the information needed for your configuration.

(You may open a separate browser window and visit your ViaTalk Control Panel to view your credentials found under the 'Softphone Configuration' icon.)

5.) Submit changes using the button at the bottom of the screen.

Once the settings have been saved and the status lights of the adapter become steady, you may begin using the service!
